Add terminal autocomplete

Installation

Step 1: Install bash-completion

$ sudo apt-get install bash-completion
And some times it works if we re-installed it by the follwing command:

$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall bash-completion
Step 2: Enable bash-completion in your .bashrc file

Open your gedit ~/.bashrc and if these content doesn't exist there, add them at the end of it and save it.

Installing Percona Server on Debian and Ubuntu

Fetch the repository packages from Percona web:

wget https://repo.percona.com/apt/percona-release_0.1-4.$(lsb_release -sc)_all.deb

Install the downloaded package with dpkg. To do that, run the following commands as root or with sudo:

dpkg -i percona-release_0.1-4.$(lsb_release -sc)_all.deb

Once you install this package the Percona repositories should be added. You can check the repository setup in the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/percona-release.list file.

Remember to update the local cache:

How to launch application as root from Unity Launcher?

If you want the app to always run as root

1) Pin the application to the launcher as normal.

2) Locate the applications .desktop file which will be in either:

/usr/share/applications/APPNAME.desktop
~/.local/share/applications/APPNAME.desktop
or somewhere else, use locate .desktop|grep APPAME

3) Open with gedit:

gksudo gedit /usr/share/applications/APPNAME.desktop
4) Then change the line

Exec=APP_COMMAND
to

Exec=gksudo -k -u root APP_COMMAND
5) Save
